In 2021, the average price of copper was US$4.24/lb, 51% higher than the average for 2020. Production in 2021 had a slight decrease of 3.9% compared to the previous year, reaching 1,084,806 tons, because copper grades in ore were inferior, but in future years
our mining plans project higher productions.
We estimate that, by 2024 and in subsequent years, we will produce more than 1,300,000 tons with the entry into operation of our growth projects in México: Pilares, El Pilar, Buenavista Zinc, and in Perú: Tía María.
