FINANCIAL HIGHLIGHTS
RELEVANT CONSOLIDATED FIGURES FOR GRUPO MÉXICO
Accumulated sales in 2021 reached US$14.77 billion, a record in Grupo México’s history
In the Mining Division, sales were US$12.08 billion in 2021, a record for the Division, 41.1% higher than in 2020.
The investments made, as well as a favorable copper price environment in the year (+51.4%), and higher prices for all our by-products: molybdenum (+82.4%), zinc (32.0%), silver (+22.1%), and gold (+1.7%) offset a drop-in production because, in 2021 and 2022, the optimized mining plan resulted in mining in areas with lower ore grades, which will increase in the following years.
